You are invited to an informational meeting on Sunday, May 22, after our 10:00am worship in the Ganson Room to find out about the Poor People’s Campaign. Fairmount is mobilizing to go to Washington, D.C. and join in a mass assembly of poor and low wage workers marching in Washington for a moral revival. Poor People’s Campaign Cleveland Rally Replay
There will be two replays of the Poor People’s Mobilization Tour event in Cleveland, which occurred on March 14, 2022. We will watch the Cleveland event replay via Zoom.

On Saturday, June 18, people of faith from the east side of Cleveland will get on a bus to Washington DC to participate in the Poor People’s Campaign March on Washington. In DC we will gather with thousands of people from around the country to address the interlocking injustices of racism and poverty.
Here are the basic details about June 18:
Who: You! All are invited and welcome to join us on June 18.
When: Saturday, June 18. The bus will leave at approximately 1am on Saturday and return late that night (around 11:30pm).
Where: The bus will leave from and return to Cleveland Heights (exact location TBD). Free nearby parking will be available.
Transportation: We will travel on a luxury bus (with a restroom) that seats up to 50 people.
Cost: Approximately $100/person
