Annual Meeting on Sunday, April 27th following 11:00 a.m. Worship
Fairmount Presbyterian Church will hold its Annual Meeting following our April 27th worship. There will be one worship service that morning at 11:00 a.m. We will review the 2024 Annual Report during the meeting. Purple Sunday” April 27th!
What is “Purple Sunday”? Purple Sunday is designed to educate about Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Put on your purple and join us at Fairmount on Sunday, April 27th. We will learn more about the impact of Alzheimer’s disease in our community, how to recognize the signs of Alzheimer’s, the importance of early detection, and how to access care and support resources. Stop by Andersen Hall and visit our ‘Purple Sunday’ table full of educational materials and resources.

Save the Dates

Happening at Fairmount!

You Mean the World to CLE
You Mean the World is a digital media project featuring portraits and stories of 21 Clevelanders representing 18 different nationalities around the world. Our goal is that thousands of individuals, agencies, organizations and businesses share the same message on May 8th. Visit www.youmeantheworld.com and sign up to be a part of the campaign. You will receive access to the “toolkit” which will provide images, videos, and text for you/your organization to post on social media channels. Together we hope to change the conversation about immigration in Cleveland. We are stronger together and we are stronger because for generations immigrants have chosen to make this city home.

Spirituality in Nature Walk
Please join us for a Spirituality in Nature Walk at Acacia Reservation on Saturday, May 3rd from 10am-Noon as we continue to find the Divine here, there, and everywhere. The walk will be facilitated by Alycia Ashburn, Co-President of the Board of Directors for The Center for Spirituality in Nature and Nikie Monah, FPC Earth Stewards member. The theme for this walk is “Spring: A Time of Healing and Renewal.” Acacia Reservation is located at 26899 Cedar Rd in Lyndhurst. The entrance to the parking lot is across Cedar Rd. from Cleveland Clinic’s Beachwood Family Health Center. We will begin by gathering on the east (parking lot) side of the white shelter building. This will be an intentionally contemplative, relaxed walk on ADA-compliant, paved trails. We care about people of all abilities, and we will walk in a way that allows everyone to have a meaningful, safe experience. Please dress for the weather, wear comfy shoes, and bring water and anything you would like to use for reflection (journal, camera, art supplies). Best suited for teens and adults. Free of charge.
