Earth Stewards  Tree Dedication –  Sunday, April 28th 

To help Fairmount celebrate Earth Month, Vicki Mentrek is planting a sugar maple tree donated by Dick Obermanns of Forest Hill Presbyterian Church. This tree will be planted in honor of Fairmount’s Earth Stewards ministry, which has worked over a number of years to reduce church generated waste and energy use, organized Doan Brook litter sweeps, and maintained a Monarch Butterfly Way station on church grounds. A brief ceremony after the 11:00 a.m. worship service on April 28th will be held in celebration. A solar panel installation over Andersen Hall is also being planned.
