Creation of loving prayer shawls for people needing the warm arms of concern wrapped around them – that’s the mission of the Fairmount Presbyterian Shawl Ministry.
Care and love of knitting and crochet have been combined in a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace. Many blessings are knitted into every shawl.
The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month, beginning with prayer in the Sanctuary at 1:30pm, then moving into the Chilcote Room to lovingly knit and crochet the shawls.
