Upcoming Events

  • Souperbowl of caring: Sunday, February 2nd

Our youth will hold soup pots at church doors on Souper Bowl of Caring, Sunday, February 2nd. They will join young people in churches across the country to collect money for those who are hungry and hurting. Millions of dollars are collected each year for this offering.  All money that is collected is donated to a local charily chosen by the youth of the church.  Last year, our youth stocked the Heights Emergency Pantry and the Free Little Pantry in Shaker Heights.  Please support the youth of the church in this effort to love our neighbors by dropping some money in the soup pots on February 2nd.

The First Friday of each month from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm Children Birth-3rd Grade are welcome to join us for a night of fun at the church with our Staff and Volunteers.

This ministry is as much for the kids as it is for the parents.  We know life is full and we hope this night will help our kids build community while allowing parents to take a break and connect with one another.

We ask families to pack a sack dinner for their children along with a re-useable water bottle. We will have some sort of snack half way through the evening.

Parents Night Out Dates for the year are as follows:

    February 7, March 6, April 3 & May 1.

Please go to PNO SIGN-UP to sign up.  Be sure to sign-up soon as we have limited space each month.

Non-members of Fairmount are welcome to utilize this night for $10/child payable to FPC.

Contact Nike or Amy Kim about this opportunity.

Volunteers are always welcome to contact us to sign up to help.  Every volunteer must be background checked prior to helping out.  Thank you!

  • Greater Cleveland Congregations (GCC)

    Needs Your Help!

Please join our GCC Core leaders along with other faith communities of the Greater Cleveland Congregation for our “1000-person for a Criminal Justice Action.” This assembly will be on Thursday, February 27th, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at Olivet Institutional Baptist Church, 8712 Quincy Avenue. We will carpool from our church. See Jean Sylak (wearing a GCC t-shirt) after worship service in Andersen Hall to sign up and learn more about this action. Watch for more information on the work of GCC in our Sunday bulletins.
