Easter at FPC

Watching the sun rise over the horizon brings us hope for another new day. Whatever troubles the previous day has wrought, the sun rises. Whether it is cloudy or bright, the sun rises. Whether we are awake or asleep, the sun rises, again and again. In the Bible, the women went to Jesus’ tomb awash in grief. Just after sunrise, they found it empty.

This has been a tough year, but Easter comes to us, again and again, even if we don’t know what to make of God’s resurrection ways.

Again and again, the sun rises. And some days, that is enough.

Christ is Risen!
